This year’s Laneway Art program Are You Looking At Me? has seen international art curator Barbara Flynn work with artists Jan van der Ploeg, Jon Campbell, Justene Williams, Mikala Dwyer, Simon Yates, Newell Harry, Nike Savvas and Rocket Mattler to create a challenging and thoughtful group of artworks for the people of Sydney to discover in the laneways of the city.
To share the ideas behind her curatorial approach curator Barbara Flynn and several of the artists will be hosting free guided walking tours next week.
- Monday 22 November 6.00pm – 7.00pm Barbara Flynn with artists Mikala Dwyer, Rocket Mattler, and Justene Williams
- Tuesday 23 November 12.30pm - 1.30pm Barbara Flynn with artist Rocket Mattler
- Sunday 28 November 3.00pm – 4.00pm Barbara Flynn with artists Simon Yates and Newell Harry
The tours will start at the forecourt of Customs House and end in Temperance Lane with Newell Harry's work.
